Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackHey Jim… Thanks for running my spot. Great show!
Dude, what was with segments four and five? I don’t get the appeal of ‘let’s listen to Jim listen to music’, and the promo for the audio drama was enough. We can go check it out and make our own choices if we wanted to, you don’t need to do it for us.
If it means anything, I don’t get segments four and five either.
I didn’t play a promo for the Star Wars Audio Drama, I played a promo for Down the Road, Jack Jaffee’s Podcast Novel.
I appreciate the comment. We all need guardrails to avoid falling of the Cliffs of Insanity.
I was wondering that too, about playing a promo for AIM. I thought, “Wait, I never made a promo for AIM. Where’d he get one?”
I think there’s a level of heavy amusement, especially for those who have tried AIM, to hear Jim playing (er, trying to play). They did something similar with SWD when it first came out. It never ceases to amuse me how frustrated people get when they get Zallaron killed. heh
Were you dosing codeine or something?
I wish!
You have good taste in books, I really enjoyed the Black Company series.
All I have to say is tequila and NyQuil aren’t a good combination for you Jim… I know you’re upset about your numbers but they’re not much better than mine. I’ve already gotten several contacts as a result of being on your show. It was really cool. I have a follow-up recording to send you. I personally want you to keep this podcast. Even without it you are still Indiana Jim. And a very recognizable name in podcasting. Personally other than the five super huge podcast books most of us are small fish… plus those super huge podcast have really big numbers, but no listener feedback. You can’t have a conversation about Geeking with a Libsyn or Podangdo number.
